CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO- the Philippine top cop Police Director General Ronald M. Dela Rosa paid his first command visit to Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) as he graced the commemoration of the 115th Police Service Anniversary on Friday (September 2) held at the PRO1 Grandstand.
The 21st Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) nicknamed “Bato” led the conferment of awards to the PNP personnel and PNP Units who displayed their outstanding performance and to the local government officials and stakeholders who greatly helped PRO1 in its pursuit of peace and order.
In his message, PDG Dela Rosa exhorted members of the Region 1 police to double or even triple their efforts in the anti-illegal drugs campaign considering that the PNP is almost halfway of the six months timeline set by President Rodrigo Duterte.
“We cannot afford to fail the President, much more that we cannot afford to fail the Filipino people. We have to double or even triple our efforts in the fight against illegal drugs.
The Chief, PNP congratulated the awardees and expressed gratitude to the stakeholders especially the barangay captains for undoubtedly helping the police in the anti-illegal drugs campaign.

Pimentel, PRO1’s Regional Director, expressed appreciation to the Chief, PNP for his support to PRO1 and for giving inspiration and for leading the example to the members of Region 1 police. ### (News Release: 09-16-02 dated September 5, 2016.
